A middle-aged Chinese immigrant Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh) is struggling to cope with family strifes, her failing laundromat business and now she is being audited by the Internal Revenue Service.
These problems pale into insignificance when an inexplicable multiverse rift sweeps Evelyn into an insane fantasy adventure in which she alone can save the whole of existence by exploring other universes and connecting with the lives she could have led.
Directed by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. This fast-paced sci-fi comedy won 7 Oscars in 2023.
