This wonderful fairy tale has been newly adapted, with a dazzlingly star studded cast. Emma Watson and Dan Stevens take the main roles, but amongst many other distinguished actors, look out for Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, Stanley Tucci, Ewan McGregor and Kevin Kline.

Jonathan Kent’s production for The Royal Opera captures the dangerous political turbulence of Rome in 1800. The Chief of Police, Scarpia – one of the most malevolent villains in opera – ruthlessly pursues and tortures enemies of the state. Tennessee Williams’ twentieth century masterpiece Cat On A Hot Tin Roof is a searing, poetic story of a family’s fight for survival.
The cast includes Sienna Miller (High-Rise, American Sniper), Jack O’Connell (Money Monster, Skins) and Colm Meaney (Layer Cake, Star Trek), and is directed by Benedict Andrews, known for his smash hit A Streetcar Named Desire which was broadcast through NT Live in 2014.
Produced by the Young Vic following the success of Yerma, this performance was captured live during the show’s limited twelve week run at the Apollo Theatre in the West End
